How Box & Ride verifies airline bicycle policies

Box & Ride checks official sources, separates published rules from unknown information and explains what each policy means in practice for a cyclist.

Official source

We look for the baggage page, sports-equipment policy, fee table and dangerous-goods policy when available.

We record the fee, weight, dimensions, packing, booking, e-bike, battery and accessory rules separately.

“Not specified” means the source was checked but did not publish the fact. “Unknown” means we could not establish it reliably.

We separate the official rule from practical guidance about total weight, packing and airport handling.

The date changes only when a Box & Ride team member has actually checked the source.

Rules may vary by route, fare and aircraft. Always obtain final confirmation from the operating airline.
